We wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how pleased we are with the work that you have done for us over the last 13 years. In 1996, our cedar roof was 9 years old and beginning to show the signs of premature aging due to the shady and damp conditions surrounding our property. We decided to have your company clean and preserve our roof. The results were immediate and the 9 year old roof looked like new. Many of our neighbors commented on our roof and wanted to know if we had a new roof installed.
In 2002, a tree fell on our home and damaged a portion of the garage roof. A new section of roof was installed and we had this section treated by your company. As a result of a decision to retire, in 2008 we decided to have our entire roof replaced. The job was quoted to replace the entire roof minus the section installed in 2002. When the installers arrived they proceeded to tear off the old roof including the 2002 section. We were surprised and asked why they tore off the newer roof. Their response, the old roof and new roof were in the same condition. Imagine a 22 year old roof in the same condition as a 6 year old roof. Much to our contractor’s dismay, he had to replace the entire roof at no extra cost.
We recently completed a preservation treatment of our new roof in the Nantucket Gray and it looks fantastic. Our now 23 year old home has never looked better. The treatment on the roof blends perfectly with the cedar and stone exterior. We are extremely pleased with the results and look forward to enjoying our home and new roof for many years to come. One final comment, your works are some the finest, most professional individuals we have ever been involved with. Thank you and your company for the great work that you have done for us over the years.
